The magazine is birthing 6 issues a year. We are focused on holistic, socially conscious, authentic family living issues. We share inspiration with other people who strive to parent in a genuinely holistic way. The magazine also has an online version.

Meet our team

Cheryl L. Lee – Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief, Cheryl L. Lee, is an independent child development researcher; Founder and Director of the child advocacy and family consulting group; and a mother of six children ranging from preschool to young adult. An avid reader and self-described word nerd, Cheryl L. Lee is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and human rights activist as well as a homeschooling, cosleeping, peaceful parent.

Andres T. Moody, Managing Editor/Production Director

Managing Editor and Production Director, Andres T. Moody, has a background in business management but left the corporate world to pursue his dual passions for hiking and mentoring youth in a program for troubled teens. He received his B.A. in Journalism and finds that he expresses himself most effectively through the written word. Andres T. Moody is a loving father whose top priority is to be the best daddy he can be to his adorable daughter.

Frederick B. Riddle, Director of Marketing and Design

Director of Marketing and Design, Frederick B. Riddle, is a proud father of one energetic toddler who makes life brighter each day. He has a background as a therapist working with groups and individuals coping with mental illness, drug addiction, and incarceration. He has also worked with Social Services addressing the needs of at-risk children and working with families to educate, assist, and help to stabilize them. Frederick is a second-generation peaceful parent who believes in the positive, long-lasting effects of holistic parenting and strives to implement this approach in his home.

MEET OUR WRITERS

Michele A. Butler

Creative Consultant and Occasional Writer. Michele spent twenty years in public and private education as a secondary English teacher to both hearing and Deaf children. She is married to her best friend and is the mother of two sons. She is a life-long learner who is unafraid of challenge or change. She seeks to infuse his days with balance, sensitivity, and humor, and encourages her children to believe that all things are possible. Michele enjoys writing on life topics.

Barbara W. Wright

Occasional Columnist. Barbara earned her MA in Austin College, Sherman, Texas. She taught for eleven years in the Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry in Chestnut Hill, MA. Barbara is a Yoga teacher, prenatal yoga teacher, and hospital chaplain.

Wayne L. Davis

Columnist. Wayne is the author of many books about natural learning. He lives on a small farm in Texas with his family where they raise cows, chickens, and a wild rumpus. He writes posts in his blog about natural learning.
